In this video I walk you through my go-to Battlefield Redsec PS5 settings to get smoother gameplay and better visibility without wasting performance on extra effects. Keep in mind, your exact results can depend on your PS5 model and the monitor/TV you’re using, but these are solid baseline settings you can copy and then tweak. I start in the Graphics section and switch the preset to Performance, then I dial in brightness (I set both world brightness and UI brightness to around 45) and bump sharpness up to about 65 for a cleaner image. From there, I focus on removing distractions: I set weapon motion blur and world motion blur to 0, reduce camera shake to 50, and turn camera bobbing off. I also disable chromatic aberration, vignette, and film grain since they’re basically just effects and don’t help you play better. For FOV, I recommend choosing what feels right, but I like something in the 100–116 range, with vehicle third-person FOV around 82–83, and weapon FOV set to Wide. I also cover a few controller/HUD tweaks like enabling uniform infantry aiming, setting the minimap to Large and 250 for visibility, increasing crosshair intensity, turning off crosshair projection, disabling HUD motion, and keeping horizontal HUD padding at 0.
