It’s a cold, rainy day on the south coast, so I pulled my 2020 Tacoma TRD Off-Road into the garage and finally cleaned up the wiring mess under my hood by moving all my accessories over to a Switch-Pros SP9100. If you’ve seen my earlier install videos, you already know I’m running the Running4Tacos power tray setup with the terminal box, fuse box, and bus bar—and in this one I’m showing you the “now what” part: actually wiring your lights and accessories into the Switch-Pro so you’re not zip-tying giant harnesses everywhere. I walk through cutting down those long Baja Designs/Heretic-style harnesses (relay, extra switch wiring, all that junk) so you’re left with basically just power and ground. Red goes to the Switch-Pro output, black goes to the bus bar, and I crimp on heat-shrink terminals (I grabbed mine from AutoZone). I also show how I routed the wire to keep it as hidden as possible, then I test everything from the in-cab panel—fog/amber circuits and my 40” light bar. The biggest takeaway: even if you’re not a wiring wizard, this setup saves a ton of space, looks way cleaner, and makes future adds (like an onboard compressor) way easier.
