I hit the 2026 Sydney Guitar Show and did a quick LIVE walkthrough—first thing, straight in the doors at the ICC, glasses up, and off we go. This one’s a “little lap” to get the lay of the land: the main stage, the recording room (with people already lining up), and then left-to-right through the aisles so you can see what brands and booths are actually there before I circle back for deeper hangs. On the floor I clocked a heap of familiar names—Jackson, Spector, Gibson, Ibanez, Strandberg—and I ran into mates along the way (Pedal Empire crew, Tonex folks, and plenty of the usual suspects). I ducked into the Fender booth for a peek at some not-yet-released guitars, then kept wandering past strings, builders, headless/modern budget-friendly stuff, in-ears, amps, weird-and-wonderful finishes, and finally into the acoustic/makers areas where the guitar maker panel is happening later. Takeaway: this is the “where everything is” map—now that I’ve done the first pass, I’ll be back to actually dig in with proper demos and chats.
