When is the Sydney Guitar Show 2026 and where is it held?

It’s on March 7th and 8th, 2026 at the Sydney Showgrounds in Sydney Olympic Park. I’ll be there both days wandering around, filming bits, and talking to anyone who’ll talk gear with me.

What events are you hosting at the Sydney Guitar Show?

I’m hosting two sessions this year. Saturday at 12:15pm is the Guitar Makers Panel in the Make Music Room, and Sunday at 11:50am is “Best in Show” on the main stage with Tash Wolf and Josh Owen.

Who is on the Guitar Makers Panel at the Sydney Guitar Show 2026?

The panel is Perry Ormsby, Aaron Fenech, Charles Cilia, and hopefully Doug Sparkes (Auden/Gordon Smith) if he can get in from the UK. With flights being cancelled and rerouted, it’s a bit of a ‘cross your fingers’ situation.

Can I ask questions during the Guitar Makers Panel?

Absolutely. Drop your questions in the comments and I’ll bring them along, and there’ll also be audience Q&A with a mic going around on the day—so you can ask directly.

What is the 'Best in Show' session on Sunday about?

The idea is the three of us wander around the show, check out the new gear, and pick what we think is the best stuff there. Then we’ll jump on the main stage, talk through our picks, and actually demo it live—guitars, amps, pedals, whatever we land on.

Will you be filming content at the Sydney Guitar Show for the channel or podcast?

That’s the plan. I’m hoping both sessions get recorded at least for the podcast, and possibly some video too, so you should see show content popping up on the channel after the weekend.

This one’s a quick heads-up video: I’m heading to the Sydney Guitar Show at the Sydney Showgrounds (Sydney Olympic Park) this weekend, March 7–8, 2026. I had an amazing time at the Melbourne Guitar Show last year—met a heap of awesome people—and somehow they’ve invited me back again, so I’ll be wandering around filming bits, chatting to brands and distributors, and (hopefully) meeting a bunch of you.
