It’s been about three months since I last posted (aka my one and only “moving to Tokyo” video), and I’m finally catching you up on what my study abroad life has actually looked like. Before I came here, I really thought I’d be filming every day and posting weekly… and then Tokyo happened. Between adjusting, meeting new people, getting used to classes, and basically being a full-on tourist all the time, life’s just been busy in the best way. I’ve been trying to be super present, and it’s funny because now I’m so present that I forget to take videos and pictures. In this vlog, I take you along on a Wednesday (my no-class day), which is usually when I go explore like a tourist—this time heading out to Ueno Park. I also share a little life update moment when I get my SEVENTEEN ticket (Japan’s ticketing/lottery system is actually wild), do my first Amazon Japan order, and open a skincare restock I genuinely use every day. And of course, I have a “I’m not buying anything” moment in Shibuya Parco… then immediately buy the cutest mid-century modern decor piece for my dorm that’s literally straight off my Pinterest board.
