About This Video

Good morning guys—welcome to my first time in Ho Chi Minh with my college girlfriends for a post-grad girls trip. We landed super late (like 1 a.m.), survived immigration + luggage chaos, and basically started our first official day at 11 because we slept at 4. Our only real agenda? Shop, because I swear shopping in Vietnam is actually insane. I’m talking affordable, cute, and surprisingly good quality pieces that don’t feel like super fast fashion—like stuff you can wear for a really long time. In this vlog, I take you with us through all the essentials: brunch at The Running Bean (I loved that they had Vietnamese options, not just the usual “white brunch food”), takeaway bánh mì from Huynh Hoa, and a bunch of meals that were ridiculously cheap—like around 100 pesos per person for lunch, which is crazy if you’re from Manila. We also hit the Clothing Apartment (a whole building of small local stores), my fave shop LIBE (I went back twice for pasalubong), and Maverik Studios for really nice basics and quality denim. Overall: the food is delicious, the vibes are 10/10, and I’m already planning my trip back.
