About This Video

Hi guys—this vlog is basically my “one last New York day” and it’s very much a Soho kind of day: shopping, eating, walking, and just soaking in the city without rushing. I’m with my mom (aka my shopping buddy for life), and the weather was so weird—cold, rainy, and trench-coat energy even though I packed for warmer days. We started at Target for beauty/skincare essentials, and I noticed how a lot of stuff like shampoo and deodorant is literally locked up, so you have to call an attendant because shoplifting is so bad. I also tried a few things in-store, like a hydration mist because my skin was dry and flaky. Food-wise, we waited a full hour and 15 minutes at Thai Diner (yes, it was that kind of day), then later tried Shanghai 21 because TikTok made me do it. One of my favorite little wins was the Frick Museum—we waited in line forever, but our timing was perfect because it was pay-as-you-wish, so instead of paying $30 each, we paid $1 each (literally $3 total for us). And of course, we had to do L’Industrie Pizza—going early was the move, and it was genuinely the best pizza I’ve ever had. The biggest takeaway: staying longer and “living” in New York (cooking, resting, going home early) made me finally get the New York hype.
