About This Video

Seoul part 2 is basically me and Le doing what we do best: eating our way around the city and ā€œshopping till we dropā€ (but not actually buying anything). We started the day with samgyupsal first thing in the morning—literally in a random alleyway in Yeongdong—because it’s just consistently good wherever you go (and yes, still spicy). Then we headed to Seoul Forest since we had a dinner reservation in Seongsu later, and the weather randomly turned perfect—sun out, sando out, spring vibes. No more cherry blossoms, but the tulips were so pretty. After that, we did a little shopping run: Blue Elephant was honestly underwhelming, then we checked out Archive(s) PKE because I’ve been wanting to see their bags (super nice, super expensive, and I was not planning to buy). We also tried another eyewear shop (MUUT) and… lowkey underwhelming too, but it was still fun to browse. Food-wise, we had this grilled chicken mix platter with all the parts (heart, gizzard, soft bone) and I was lowkey scared because I’m not that adventurous—but it ended up being so good, plus we tried an Earl Grey highball. We also hit a market (so much food, like people would be shocked at how much we eat), then went out to Seokchon Lake for cooler spring weather and a chicken dakgalbi dinner. And in between all of that, I squeezed in a school meeting—because as much as it looks like I’m always on vacation, I still work and stay up finishing tasks. Coffee stops were a must too: Camel Coffee is still my favorite (their doan/dirty-style coffee is so good), and I ended with salt bread + a condensed latte at Ediya.
