I genuinely have no words because the day finally arrived — I moved to Tokyo for my study abroad term, and I’m going to be living here for the next few months as an exchange student. This vlog is basically me trying to process the fact that I’m actually in Japan after dreaming about it for years and spending the last few months getting everything together (all the documents, the prep, the logistics). Today was move-in day at my dorm in Tokyo, and it felt so unreal because a few days ago I was literally still at home. This is a really big step for me because I’ve lived with my parents my whole life and I’ve never moved out, so I’m definitely nervous. But I’m also so excited for this new season of adventure — trying new things, being more open, and stepping out of my comfort zone. I chose Japan because I love Japan, and I can’t wait to bring you along as I settle in, learn, and figure out life here one vlog at a time.
