About This Video

I booked this Singapore trip super last minute (literally the week before) because I had a really short summer break and I wanted to make the most of it. That meant a 3am start, a super early flight, and long lines from check-in to boarding—so yes, I was tired, but I still tried to squeeze in as much exploring as possible. I stayed at Angel’s place (she was at work a lot), so I ended up doing a lot of this trip solo and just wandering at my own pace. In this vlog, I’m taking you with me through some of my favorite Singapore moments: visiting the National Gallery, spending time at the Singapore Botanic Gardens (the weather was perfect), and biking around during sunset near Gardens by the Bay—honestly one of my favorite parts of Singapore. I also share my cafe and food recos (like Dough at CHIJMES, Free the Robot in Telok Ayer, and Newton Food Centre), plus my shopping stops and a book haul. Kinokuniya was a big highlight because the selection is huge, and I picked up reads I’m genuinely excited about—especially after finishing a Paulo Coelho book that I loved.
