I finally got to live out a literal dream: my first days in Seoul, South Korea with one of my besties. In part 1, I’m taking you with us as we settle in (aka learn the hard way that taking the subway with all our luggage was… not it). We were climbing stairs and hills, so sweaty, so tired, and genuinely close to fainting on the sidewalk—until we fixed everything the best way possible: fried chicken and a reset. After that, we went full explore mode around Myeongdong since our hotel was right there. We popped into photo booths, walked through busy spots like DDP Plaza, and basically tried to do everything even though it was insanely hot—like “burns your skin” hot. I also brought you along for a new day where I booked a salon trim just for the experience, plus we squeezed in museums, quick rests back at the hotel, and then headed back out at night for Myeongdong shopping and dinner.
