About This Video

In this Seoul vlog (part 2), I’m basically in full “seoul searching” mode—trying to squeeze in as many comfort spots and highlights as possible while we’re halfway through the trip. The weather’s been rainy and stormy, so I was extra thankful it wasn’t raining (even if it was super gloomy). I started the day in Hannam because I had a meeting, so of course I needed a cafe moment first, then we headed to the Leeum Museum to finally do something a little more cultural this trip. Food-wise… insane. We went back to one of those random hole-in-the-wall restos that’s genuinely certified good—kimchi jiggae, pancakes, and jeyukk bokkeum (the dish that fully got us into jeyukk bokkeum in the first place). Then we did Gyeongbokgung Palace for the first time, and it was literally like seeing a K-drama set in real life. I also share a few of my favorite “day-to-day” travel essentials (my Jisulife fan is the best money I’ve spent, period), plus fun Seongsu stops like getting a caricature done in one minute and hanging out in a vinyl cafe—pricey, but such a good experience if you want to rest and still do something new. We ended the day with Seokchon Lake and the Lotte World Tower, which was way bigger than I expected—and somehow the sun was still super bright at 7PM.
