About This Video

Today’s little Friday daily vlog is very much a “topsy-turvy routine” kind of day because it’s absolutely roasting. I start off by showing you my packing room/stock room (the space I’m in all the time when I’m packing orders) with my pegboard full of handy bits, shelves of fabric, stamps, washi, stickers, notebooks, and a big table where my computer and printer live. It’s a north-facing room so it always looks a bit dark on camera, and honestly it can get a bit messy in places… so you’re only getting a peek at the good corner. I also try that iced coffee trend with instant coffee and sugar (and learn the hard way that adding the milk too soon totally loses the froth). After that it’s housework-first because I don’t fancy hoovering and cleaning the bathroom later when the house is warmer. I chat through the plan to head to the post office later (since I’m already going into town for the hairdressers), then get on with some sewing prep: cutting out more denim, planning patches, and maybe a quick iron—though I’m very aware the iron will heat the room up. It’s one of those muggy, possibly-thundery days, and I’m honestly just feeling tired by the end of the week.
