About This Video

In this cosy little vlog I’m in full small-business mode, photographing and sharing a big batch of new shop stock before it all goes live on Etsy. I’ve made a mix of project bags (including some adorable Snoopy prints, sweet little mice, and a few Christmasy ones like Santa in his car off to pick up a tree), plus matching Christmassy stitch markers—yes, some of the bells actually jingle. I also show a few handy extras that make lovely stocking fillers, like my little project notebooks and the tiny sharp snips that clip onto a stitch marker holder or even onto a project bag, because somehow I still lose scissors even when I’ve got them in every bag. I also cast on (and then very quickly finish!) a Sophie scarf as a Christmas gift for my mum, using a cheap-as-chips Woolcraft baby DK with little speckles through it. I’m doing the larger size with the icord edging, and using a stitch counter this time was an absolute game-changer—I could actually watch TV without losing count, which is exactly why it flew off the needles in a week. To round things off, I chat about what I’m reading and listening to (a Scottish-island Christmas read, plus a Christmassy crime audiobook), and I share my plan for a no-stress, cosy Vlogmas vibe—warm, chilled, and the kind of videos you can pop on with a cuppa.
