With Reddit's API restrictions making access increasingly difficult, I wanted to show you two powerful workarounds that don't require official API keys. In this video, we build complete Reddit scraping workflows using n8n with both RSS feeds and Apify scrapers. The first workflow demonstrates how to use FetchRSS.com to generate RSS feeds from any Reddit URL, allowing you to monitor specific subreddits and automatically receive daily updates. The second workflow is more advanced, leveraging Apify's Reddit scraper to extract comprehensive post data, classify content using AI text classification, and automatically organize leads into Google Sheets for follow-up. We cover multiple n8n nodes including Apify integration, Telegram notifications, AI agents for content generation, Google Sheets automation, and text classifiers that categorize Reddit posts into workflows, tips and advice, beginner questions, and help requests. Whether you're looking to find potential customers, gather market research, or discover content ideas, these workflows will save you hours of manual work. The complete JSON templates for both workflows are available free in our School community, where we also host live calls every Wednesday. Perfect for anyone doing lead generation, competitive research, or community monitoring on Reddit without paying for expensive API access. About This Video

Reddit is a treasure trove of data for businesses—market research, content ideas, and straight-up leads—because people are constantly posting real problems. The issue is Reddit’s API restrictions have made the “old way” annoying (and sometimes basically impossible), so in this video I built two workarounds in n8n that don’t require official API keys. We walk through a simple RSS-based workflow first, then a more advanced Apify scraper workflow that gives you way more post data to work with. For the RSS approach, I use FetchRSS.com to generate an RSS feed from any Reddit URL (since a normal RSS feed doesn’t work cleanly with Reddit). In n8n, I trigger it daily, clean up the messy title/content, optionally filter posts, and then format everything with an AI agent before sending it to Telegram. For the Apify approach, I run a Reddit Scraper actor, trim the dataset with Edit Fields, then classify posts (workflows, tips, beginner questions, help requests, or “other”). From there I route each category into different Google Sheets tabs, and for beginner questions I even generate a short suggested reply using an AI agent that searches a simple resources sheet. The JSON templates are free in our Skool community, and we do live calls every Wednesday.
