About This Video

I gave Claude one instruction: go through my inbox, find everything that needs a reply, and draft responses for me. In about 45 seconds it read 23 emails, identified 7 that actually needed a response, and wrote drafts in my tone with context from the original threads. The whole point here is: no code, no workflow, no n8n build—just Claude Co-work connected to Gmail and a few good prompts. In the video, I walk you through connecting Gmail inside Co-work (Customize → Connectors → Gmail), then setting the right permissions (I keep “write/delete” as needs approval because that’s just common sense). From there I demo prompts I actually use: “what’s in my inbox today?”, “find any emails I haven’t gotten a reply in 3+ days”, and “summarize my last 20 unread emails and flag anything urgent.” Then I show how to turn a repeatable prompt into a reusable Skill (like my “No Reply 3 Days” skill), and finally how to run it on a daily Scheduled Task (e.g., 9am) so it checks for follow-ups automatically. One important quirk: scheduled tasks only run if your computer is awake, so schedule it when you’re actually online.
