In this video, I show you how to set up Claude Cowork Dispatch so you can delegate real work to Claude from your phone while you’re away from your desk. The whole idea is simple: your phone becomes a “walkie-talkie” to Claude running on your desktop, and Claude can use your local files, Chrome browsing, and any connectors you’ve already authenticated (think Slack, email, etc.). I walk through the exact pairing flow on mobile + desktop, what to click, and the settings that actually matter so it works reliably. Then I run a live demo where I message Claude from my phone to open a specific spreadsheet in a specific folder and summarize it. After that, I prompt it to build a full HTML dashboard in that same folder—and it finishes the job and notifies me when it’s done. The big takeaways: keep your computer awake (seriously, the most important part), enable browser actions/connectors when needed, and name your folders/files clearly so Claude doesn’t get lost. This is one of those “no hype, just works” features that can save you a ton of time for reporting, research, and ops tasks.
