In this video I walk through Claude Cowork plugins—bundles that give Claude specialized tools, skills, and knowledge for an actual job. The difference is like a Swiss Army knife versus a fully stacked workshop. I show exactly where to find plugins (the plus icon → Plugins), how to browse the marketplace, and why you should start with what’s already built before wasting time reinventing it. Then I demo installing the Sales plugin (it takes like two seconds), and I show how the customization flow pulls in your company context and asks a few targeted questions to tailor outreach and workflows. From there, I break down the three core components every plugin is built on: commands (slash shortcuts like /analyze), connectors (Gmail, Notion, Google Calendar, BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.), and skills (the “brains” that do things like call prep, drafting outreach, dashboards, SQL, and statistical analysis). I also show how plugin updates work (one click from 1.0 to 1.1) and wrap with how to pick plugins by role—data, marketing, HR, support, ops—so you can wire Claude into real workflows instead of just prompting harder.
