In today's video, we're doing a layman's review of the ProArt 6K Display, the PA32QCV. While it's not an Apple Pro Display XDR, and we'll explain why, we'll notice that as long as we don't directly compare it to the Pro Display XDR, we'll be mostly happy. We'll talk about the LuxPixel coating and its impact on the 6K resolution, design, size, brightness and HDR capabilities, contrast , color accuracy, connectivity, ergonomics, price, with the stand included, and subjective comforts. *UPDATE - See the re-review (below)* ASUS ProArt 6K Re-Review https://youtu.be/IUTvdRpFZGs *SIMILAR VIDEOS* ProArt vs. Pro Display XDR https://youtu.be/oevmZYs3eKE Pro Display XDR Review https://youtu.be/q72taq2Fkj0 *ProArt 6K | PA32QCV* Amazon https://amzn.to/4nrRyIs B&H https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1908824-REG/asus_proart_display_pa32qcv_31_5.html/BI/23712/KBID/29159/DFF/d10-v21-t1-x1870166/SID/DFF *Pro Display XDR* Amazon https://amzn.to/4n5MjgV B&H https://bhpho.to/3UO3Eiw *Thunderbolt* CalDigit Thunderbolt 5 Hub https://amzn.to/4m38nI7 CalDigit Thunderbolt 4 Hub https://amzn.to/4guVoOt *Office* Dell U3225QE https://amzn.to/4k2aMSr LG DualUp https://amzn.to/4lEK6cg LG Vertical Mouse https://amzn.to/3GDHEmi LG MX Master Keyboard https://amzn.to/4d8Wi1r Desk Felt Pads https://amzn.to/4jhCKKe *CHAPTERS* 00:00 Introduction 00:45 Unboxing 01:09 Power-on 02:27 Design 03:25 Size Why 32" Monitors https://youtu.be/EdcQW4WHYVE?si=zPkWFwGlEvr4OAhh 04:20 Resolution & Refresh Rate Dell 32" 4K https://youtu.be/t4KPrGjNlBg?si=dbvRbwx_uPkr_Iu5 06:03 Brightness & HDR 08:34 Brightness Uniformity 09:22 Contrast Ratio 09:52 Color Accuracy 10:10 Connectivity 10:48 Ergonomics 11:26 Price 12:17 OLED Why I Abandoned OLED.. https://youtu.be/0bVXV_a5I5s 13:15 Conclusion 14:25 Thanks for watching! *SOCIAL* Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/ruslan.tulupov/ Twitter - https://twitter.com/RuslanTulupov Email - tulupov120101@gmail.com *YOUTUBE CHANNEL(S)* Cars, Home DIY https://youtube.com/@RuslanVideoFilms Tech DIY https://www.youtube.com/@RuslanTulupov *SEE MY OTHER VIDEOS* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsM6d1ncFAHK15PAaEKsk_IGRGDUE2Cit https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsM6d1ncFAHJzDSsSBBDMmEL4kmWN3yQE https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsM6d1ncFAHJ9VlisT45SoUxKk1LY-776 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsM6d1ncFAHJDmg8qwih7qLhb7srMXaNA https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsM6d1ncFAHLl9ULvQgRgwTrkYlli8mlR https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsM6d1ncFAHJDMMwu7qpJ8huhmG_cRtp4 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsM6d1ncFAHIO-dux0PQQ5BksvnncK3D2 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsM6d1ncFAHIyhL3f3weKYDoo36ewTrF9 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsM6d1ncFAHLq2aZUNUDRMMXpE_hSAcce https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsM6d1ncFAHKHtsFyW4Jj2VKtAIQRClGl https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsM6d1ncFAHKo0fna7UckRf1XzipdqMW2 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsM6d1ncFAHKH6oxC3akLgkSlf7kFkgnI https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsM6d1ncFAHIi0F687GATslpMHUkmJVGo *MUSIC* Karl Casey @ White Bat Audio https://www.youtube.com/@UC_6hQy4elsyHhCOskZo0U5g

About This Video

In this video I do a layman’s review of the ASUS ProArt 6K Display (PA32QCV) and answer the real question: is it any good if you’re an Apple-first person who’s used to the Pro Display XDR? I go through the basics—unboxing, design, size, resolution, brightness, HDR, contrast, color, ports, ergonomics, and price—but I also focus on the “daily use” stuff people ignore, like power-on speed and how responsive the menus feel. Spoiler: it’s not as instant as the XDR. You actually have to hold the power button and wait for it to think for 5–10 seconds, and if you dock/undock a laptop multiple times a day, those seconds add up. The biggest talking point is ASUS’s LuxPixel coating. Up close on light content it creates a glimmer/grain that takes getting used to, and in my experience it detracts from the sharpness you expect from 6K. On the other hand, in a bright room it does help fight glare and uneven lighting, and you might end up appreciating it. Brightness in SDR is surprisingly strong (it feels under-reported), but HDR is a weak point: it doesn’t auto-toggle like the XDR, and even when enabled it won’t “blow you away.” At $1,399 with a stand included, I see it as a solid, bright, connectivity-packed 6K option—just don’t buy it expecting a Pro Display XDR replacement.
