This is the Pro Display XDR itself—my main point is that it’s more than “just a 6K panel.” The brightness/HDR performance and the overall experience are what make it top of the line, even years later, if you actually need that level of HDR work.

Pros

  • +6K resolution at 32 inches (218 PPI) is a productivity sweet spot
  • +500 nits SDR, up to 1,000 nits sustained HDR and 1,600 nits peak
  • +Excellent contrast for IPS/mini-LED with strong HDR impact
  • +No OLED burn-in risk for static UI elements

Cons

  • -Very expensive (about $6,000 with the stand before tax)
  • -Glossy glass can be reflective and shows fingerprints/dust
  • -Off-axis white point can shift blue
  • -Rear USB-C ports effectively run at USB 2 speeds due to bandwidth limits
