Guitar Exercise For Intervallic Recognition - Emphasizing 6ths & 3rds

In this single-note guitar exercise, we look at scales that emphasize 6ths and 3rds designed to develop melodic awareness, fretboard fluency, and intervallic recognition by playing through major scales in single-note lines, moving around the Cycle of 4ths. The focus is on targeting and outlining 6ths and 3rds, two of the most musical and expressive intervals used in melodic phrasing and improvisation.
