Hello there and welcome back to day 178 of my journey of an Eorzean lifetime. In this one I’m trying to be responsible and finish the last bits of patch 4.5 before I get emotionally drop-kicked by Shadowbringers… but first: Little Ladies’ Day, because it’s “hella cute as always” and it’s about to disappear. Yes, it means going to Ul’dah (the worst city in the game, and you all know I’m right). I poke around the event rewards, grab the themed gear and glow-stick vibes, and then I go full investigative journalist mode—interviewing the absolute unhinged idol fans who are out here living on pure dedication and delusion. Dulu is the salulu. After we confirm—scientifically—that Team Blue (Masha) is the correct choice and the most vibey by a landslide, I do a quick Gold Saucer detour to manifest MGP (it does not go how I want), and I also continue my ongoing Triple Triad beef because that AI has been taunting me through Stormblood. Then it’s finally time to pray return to Eureka Pyros with the community: I step back in at elemental level 35, surrounded by people who are somehow level “50 billion,” and start figuring out the leveling/quest pacing as I push toward the next milestone (I’m pretty sure I need to be around 40-ish to keep moving).
