Today I'm sharing what's in my diaper/ nappy bag! This is what I carry with me for any trips out with my daughters, Isla (4) and Iris (20 months)! These are our go-to essentials that I always keep handy these days, but I haven't cleaned my bag out for ages so this is a real-life look into our everyday diaper bag. About This Video

In this video I’m sharing a very real-life look inside my “diaper bag”… even though I don’t actually carry nappies anymore. Isla is 4 and has been potty trained for years, and Iris is fully potty trained at 20 months, so this bag has basically become our go-bag for restaurants, doctor’s appointments, special occasions, and anywhere I know the girls might need something novel to do. I’ll be honest: very little of what’s in here is Montessori-aligned, and that’s the whole point. I keep items in this bag that the girls don’t usually get access to at home, so they stay interesting when we’re out. You’ll see a big bag of random plastic figurines, tiny lightweight books (great for the car), sticker books, Melissa & Doug Water Wows, and a reusable sticker set (even though the “reusable” stickers definitely lose their stickiness over time). I also pack cheap “don’t-care-if-it-goes-missing” activities like knock-off Lego and a tin full of Shopkins. I also talk through the practical side of going out with a potty-trained toddler: I still bring our IKEA potty, wet wipes, and a disposal bag, because it makes park days and outings so much easier. And yes, I share my current favourite water bottles too—our Yeti bottles have been amazing for not leaking, not getting mouldy, and not having that weird taste.
