Hey y’all, in this video I’m walking you through my updated Spring 2026 monthly wash day routine—aka me using ONLY the best of what I already own, plus finally putting some “been on my mind” products to work. I split my month into five weeks so I’m not doing the same exact wash day over and over, and so my hair can get what it needs: clean scalp, balanced moisture/protein, and a routine that actually makes sense for real life (and for using up this stash). I’m also keeping it real about how I choose products—very moody, like how I pick my books. Week one is my clarify + moisture reset: I start with a true clarifying shampoo, then I’ll use a rinse-out if I didn’t pre-poo, and I always follow with a moisturizing deep conditioner to reinforce that moisture. Week two is my co-wash week with a “specialty” step like a scalp scrub, then I add a moisture-protein mask. Week three is semi-clarifying, then back to a moisturizing mask. Week four is moisturizing shampoo + heavy-duty protein, then I soften things back up with a rinse-out. And week five (that I’m building on) is where I dedicate time to using up silicone products—because yes, I had enough to give them their own week.
