Hey y’all — in this video I’m coming to you late-night on a Sunday (protein day, okay!) and I decided to add a little extra chaos: I attempted a twist out… and if you know, you know, I am not a twist out girl. On top of that, I cracked open a new-to-me styler from Sauce Beauty: the Crème Brûlée Curl Custard. I paired it with one of my ride-or-die leave-ins, the Treluxe Untie the Knot, because that leave-in is one of the only ones I’ll actually let “marinate” for about 10 minutes (it makes my hair feel so much softer). I also tested a detangling brush in the process, which may or may not have played a role in the frizz. I gave y’all real mid-week updates because first-day twist outs can be deceiving. At first, the custard honestly felt like a moisturizing cream with no tackiness and no obvious hold, and my take-down on Tuesday had me like… “I don’t know about this one.” But by Thursday (and especially after stretching on day six), the results were doing their big one: shine, definition, pillow-soft hair, and surprisingly good longevity for a cream-based styler. By the end, I was genuinely impressed — this combo was a success, and Sauce Beauty is officially two-for-two for me.
