Hey y’all — in this video I’m revisiting an oldie but goodie from my stash: the Camille Rose Naturals Algae Renew Deep Conditioner. As you can see, your girl is dripping (and yes, I still hate wet hair on my body, it’s yuck), but I’ve been taking “use up my stash” seriously. 2026 is about me using what I already own, especially the products I used to love, and I wanted to see if this OG Camille Rose mask still hits the same. I walk you through the specs, the ingredients, and how it applies on my hair. It’s a thicker, buttery deep conditioner (cocoa + mango butter) that melts in once you work it between your hands, and I do feel moisture immediately. I don’t think it has the best slip, but slip isn’t my #1 requirement for a deep conditioner anyway. After letting it sit (honestly, I think I left it on too long), my hair had shine, some definition, and that moisture-protein balance I was going for — but I’m still a little underwhelmed compared to my newer Camille Rose fave: the Honey Nectar treatment. Bottom line: Algae Renew is a solid, quality OG, but for me it doesn’t beat the honey one.
