About This Video

Hey y’all— in this video I’m in my bookish bag and showing you every single book I currently own from Dollar Tree. I learned (of course) from TikTok that the Dollar Tree book section can actually be that girl, and I’ve been gagged ever since. These books are like $1.25–$1.50-ish, and a lot of them are hardcovers that are still sitting in Barnes & Noble for $20–$30. I pulled out about 10–11 of my finds and tried to put them in order from my most recent pickups to my oldest. I walk you through what I grabbed and why—like “Required Reading for the Disenfranchised Freshman” (the cover got me and the POC campus storyline sealed it), “Ma in Real Life” (35, a mom, life falling apart? say less), and my big gag moment: finding “Take My Hand” for a dollar and some change. I also share a few I’m less pressed to read right now (pandemic-based stories, longer fake dating, etc.), plus some that I’m genuinely excited for like “Any Other Family” and my most anticipated: “True Biz.” The main takeaway: always check that Dollar Tree book aisle—sometimes it’s nothing, and sometimes you find a gem you’d normally pay full price for.
