In this video I’m running through Samsung’s BIG September update wave, and yeah—Samsung has been running rampant this month. I filmed this on September 27th (with a few days left in the month), but One UI 8 has clearly been taking precedence, so a lot of these app updates feel like they’re either preparing for One UI 8 or tightening things up now that it’s rolling out. I go app-by-app and call out what actually changed, what matters, and what I’d personally recommend you try. I cover updates like Bixby Vision (bug fixes + optimized searching), Voice Recorder, and Samsung Notes adding landscape support and sticky notes—landscape actually looks really clean and “Microsoft Word-ish” on a phone. I also talk Good Lock essentials like Theme Park, Home Up (now supporting One UI 8 and tablets), Sound Assistant (One UI 8 volume panel support), One Hand Operation+ (more fixes for One UI 8), and Wonderland—battery efficiency improvements and new blur options for lock screen transitions. On the bigger system side, I break down Quick Share’s major improvements (sending/receiving modes, re-send only unsent files, longer device names, and internet-based transfers), plus Calendar + Reminder changes, Knox Matrix, Samsung Health updates, Camera Assistant support, and more. Bottom line: if you care about smooth sharing, customization, and One UI 8 readiness, September was a big one.
