One UI 8 Beta 7 is out, and in this video I’m walking you through what Samsung actually changed—because once again, they surprised us by not dropping the stable release yet. I pulled up the update notes on my Galaxy S25 and went bug-by-bug, including the one that was driving me crazy: the lock screen clock position slowly moving down until it basically disappears. That was happening to me with one of my Modes (my nighttime setup) while using the new adaptive clock, and I’m glad to say it’s been behaving since I installed Beta 7. Samsung also says they fixed Bluetooth audio squeaking/disconnects, stretch font not applying (which I’m guessing ties back into the adaptive clock behavior), and a few lock screen/status bar visual glitches. The update is 557MB and still on the September security patch, and I talk about why that smaller size feels like we’re getting closer to stable—possibly end of September, or maybe they hold it and roll stable out with the October patch. On my side, battery life hasn’t been bad at all, and heat is way better than it used to be—especially with my whole YouTube situation. I also touch on Good Lock customization like DIY Home still being labeled beta, but honestly it’s been running pretty solid for me, with faster load times after reboots.
