Two months into daily driving the Galaxy S25 (my 6.3-inch model), I wanted to see if anything changed since my one-month review—and honestly, it’s still a really solid Samsung experience. Hardware-wise, I’m kinda shocked how mint this phone still looks. It’s slipped out of my pocket in the car, hit tile, hit the gym floor, and it’s still reigning supreme with no scratches in sight, which is exactly why I keep saying Samsung’s flagship build quality is on another level compared to their mid-range stuff. On the software side, I break down the weird battery drain/overheating situation I had early on—mainly tied to YouTube and how the phone’s optimization was handling it. The fix for me was setting YouTube’s battery setting to “Unrestricted,” and once I did that (plus the timing around One UI 8 beta updates), the problems basically disappeared. Battery life has been phenomenal since then: all-day use, heavy background playback, and I’m still ending the night with plenty left. Cameras have stayed consistent too, and One UI 8 has been surprisingly stable overall. The one real problem? Storage—128GB is just not it in 2025, and that alone might push this S25 into secondary-phone status for me.
