In this video I’m checking back in on the Galaxy Fit 3 after almost a full year of wearing it day to day. I’ve been rocking this instead of the Galaxy Watch Ultra a lot of the time, mainly because I still like wearing regular watches and it’s hard to wear two full-size watches at once. For around 60-ish bucks, the Fit 3 has been very, very solid: you get a good-sized AMOLED screen, easy phone syncing, and the basics you actually use—steps, heart rate, sleep tracking, and stress tracking. My biggest issue is the same one I’ve had with a lot of Samsung’s “fitness-first” stuff lately, including the Galaxy Ring: the Fit 3 doesn’t get the full fitness feature set that the Galaxy Watch line gets. I’m talking more sensors and quality-of-life health features—things like the extra button and body composition/BMI-style tracking so you can trend your health over time. I’d gladly pay more (80–100 bucks) if Samsung would make the Fit line the true “Fit” device it should be. I also talk software and battery life. The app is straightforward, updates aren’t frequent, and battery is still about five-ish days for me. The one annoying limitation: you can only load 10 watch faces at a time, even though there are a ton of good ones in the app.
