In this video I’m checking in on the Galaxy Buds3 Pro a full year later, because a lot of y’all are looking at the newer Buds3 FE and wondering if the “Pro” pair still holds up. I talk durability first because my pair has taken some real hits—concrete, tile, carpet, you name it. They’ve fallen out of my ear more times than I can count, and they’re still working. The main weird thing I’ve noticed is if they take a hard enough drop, they can temporarily lose connection and you’ll get that whistling situation, so you’ll want to re-sync them. Then I get into the stuff Samsung needs to fix. I don’t like that Samsung moved Buds controls out of the Galaxy Wearable app and into Bluetooth settings—too many steps just to change noise controls or check updates, so I’m basically relying on a widget. I also talk about voice controls: I love the feature when my hands are full, but it responds to anybody’s voice, which is annoying and honestly a privacy concern. Overall though, sound quality is still phenomenal, ANC can feel a little “leaky” depending on fit, and I can still recommend the Buds3 Pro if you want solid Samsung earbuds.
