In this video I’m breaking down five hidden One UI 8 features worth trying, and the big theme here is customization—especially through Good Lock. I call these “hidden” because a lot of people still don’t use Good Lock (or don’t realize how deep the modules go), and One UI 8 made a few of these feel even better coming from the One UI 7 to 8 transition. First up is Wonderland, where I show how to create a smooth transition from Always On Display to your lock screen with custom effects. I walk you through downloading Good Lock from the Galaxy Store, installing the modules, and setting up your own lock/AOD combo from your gallery (I used Spider-Man just to show how clean it can look). After that, I get into Theme Park for the glass icon look—this is the one I get asked about all the time—and I show how to tweak lighting, edge, angle, transparency, and even glow color. Then we jump into Home Up for more home screen settings, including turning on the settings dialog so “Home Up” shows right inside your home screen options. I also show DIY Home Screen for more granular control (resizing and overlapping items), and I finish with quick widget resizing on the fly—basically the icing on the cake. The whole point is simple: play around with your Galaxy and make it yours.
