About This Video

Switching back to being a righty was completely unexpected, but it’s turned into a pretty happy accident. In this video I walk through the “then vs now” of my right-handed physical game, using clips from a few recent reviews (Nebula, Danger Zone, Black Widow 3.0 Dynasty, and Apex Jackal) to show what’s actually changed. The big picture: my swing used to be wild because I couldn’t keep my hand behind the ball, so I’d pull it up with my shoulder and end up suitcasing it. Now the backswing is lower, tempo is more patient, my wrist is quieter, and I’m getting closer to staying behind it—without all the flapping around. A huge part of the improvement is that I stopped sliding “a mile” and committed to planting, the same way I learned while bowling lefty. That helped my timing, control, and consistency more than I expected. I also talk about the stuff you don’t see: how easy it is for my arm to wander when I’m talking ball reaction, trying to help it, or getting tired, and why I have to keep my elbow closer and my shoulders in a better position to project the ball. The takeaway is simple: take video, match feel vs real, work on one thing at a time, and stay patient—you can make real progress faster than you think.
