The Break Down Pair 111: It's Bowling Season! Scratch Draft League Draft List Breakdown!

It's already bowling season again, and that means it's time for our local scratch draft league to hold the draft, which is tomorrow night! There are lots of new faces on the draft list, plus a few team captains drafting for the first time, so for the locals, we'll give you some insight on the newcomers and give our picks and predictions on how things might go! With 80 bowlers and only 72 spots up for grabs, it unfortunately means some won't get drafted, but that's part of the excitement and incentive to get back at it for next year! For those that have no idea what's going on or what we're talking about, it's still a fun league concept to learn about that you might be able to implement in your area! This league is 18 4 person teams, the top 18 averages from the previous year get to be captains and draft their teams the following year. If you didn't qualify to be a captain or you're new to the league, you put your name on the list to be drafted and see what happens! The twist though is that after the first round, which happens as you might expect, the 18th captain, or the lowest average captain drafts first, then follows up the line until the highest average drafts last in the first round . . the captain's average is then added to the average of the player they selected, and everyone is then reseeded for the next round, so who you pick also influences your draft position in the following round, and the same thing happens the round after that!
