About This Video

In this video I do a full, in-depth review of Swag’s new Judgement, filmed at Royal Crest Lanes in Lawrence, Kansas on Kegel Chromium. I go over the specs (2.51 RG, .053 diff, .07 int diff) and why that medium RG / strong diff combo helps keep an asym from getting too early and “bogging down,” while still giving you plenty of flare and a strong, usable read. The cover is Slayer Hybrid at 3000 grit with Swag’s AP26 additive, and we kept it there for testing. Reaction-wise, my big theme is balance. The Judgement is strong and controllable, but it doesn’t do anything in a hurry—easy through the front, then a round, continuous, slightly “tumbly” move that climbs and builds momentum through the pins. I talk comparisons (it weirdly reminds me of the Roto Grip UFO Alert in shape), where it fits in an arsenal (that broad-coverage benchmark asym/workhorse slot), and what types of bowlers will like it. I also cover the pros/cons, pricing (it’s top-end for Swag but still grades well), and why this is a ball you can realistically start with and not have to put away all night.
