About This Video

In this video I put MOTIV’s new Supra Sport through a full, in-depth test at Royal Crest Lanes in Lawrence, Kansas on Kaggel Chromium. I go over the tech (Quadfire Core 2 with a 2.55 RG and 0.043 diff in 15lb, plus the Leverage MFS Solid cover from the Black Venom at 4000 grit), my layout choice, and then what actually matters: what it looks like going down the lane and why it’s already been all over the PBA scene. The Supra line has usually been the “long and strong” transition answer in MOTIV, but this one flips the script in a really good way. It’s still clean, but it adds control and stability—most like a Black Venom that’s cleaner and sharper, or a Primal Ghost that’s a little weaker. For me it’s round and continuous, but it can also get arcy and directional depending on how I throw it, which is why I keep calling it a shape shifter (similar to the Nebula). I talk comparisons, where it fits in a 3- or 4-ball arsenal, what conditions it’s happiest on (league and plenty of sport/tougher stuff), and then I wrap with my pros/cons and performance grades—spoiler: versatility is the headline, even if the price stings.
