In theory, that’s huge—either because you just don’t like Shorts, or because you like them a little too much and want guardrails. In practice, the rollout is messy (some people have it, some don’t, and some devices—like mine—just refuse to cooperate), and even when it works it can be hilariously easy to bypass. But if the version you get actually removes Shorts from your main feed, that’s a genuinely meaningful improvement to app design.
