In this video I’m answering the actual question: if you already own the Kefine Klean OG, is the Klean SV worth buying—and if you don’t own either, which one should you pick. Both versions use the same 10mm dynamic driver (32 ohms, 107 dB), so something like an Apple dongle is more than enough, and the housings/dimensions are basically the same. That’s why I straight-up say the change isn’t drastic—you can pretty much EQ one to match the other and get extremely close. The Klean is “clean” sounding… like vanilla ice cream with sprinkles when you mess with the tuning nozzles. Where things actually matter is durability and nozzle options. The OG’s brass-looking removable nozzles can oxidize fast in humid climates, and the Klean line is known for paint chipping, so I recommend cleaning them and storing them with silica balls—plus I don’t recommend them for sweaty commutes or exercise. Sound-wise, OG is warmer/bassier and SV is brighter/cleaner on default. For gaming and long sessions, SV with the gold nozzle is the move: it keeps things exciting but cuts harshness vs OG black nozzle, which can get tiring after a couple hours. Overall, I rate them B-tier: safe all-rounders, not the best at anything, but solid if you want a “sampler” IEM to pivot your upgrades from.
