In this first impressions stream, I unbox the 7Hz x Crinacle Diablo and go through the stuff people actually ask about: accessories, fit, weight, dimensions, and then straight into listening and a quick gaming test. Right away, the case is comically big, the zipper feels cheap, and it doesn’t even open all the way—pretty annoying. The cable is also heavy (around 40g by itself), and for a ~$170 set I honestly expected more/better tips and accessories. The shells are aluminum, cold to the touch, and while they feel big, the rounded shape made them comfortable for me over a long session. Sound-wise, this is the heaviest bass I’ve heard on an IEM. Sub-bass is monstrous, and for my taste it’s simply too much—especially on orchestra and female vocals where it comes off dark and “up my ears.” The upside is the planar driver behavior: it stays fast, punchy, and doesn’t smear or linger like boomy room bass, plus the measurement consistency/driver matching looked very good. For gaming, though, the bass messes with positional cues—people sounded closer than they really were and rear cues got confusing. I wouldn’t recommend it as a blind buy unless you’re a basshead; if you’re treble-centric like me (Hexa/Cadenza type preferences), keep away.
