In this stream, I unbox the Kefine Klean SV and do the usual “first impressions + nerd stuff” combo: accessories check, weight + dimensions, and some quick listening before we get into gaming later. I also talk about the cable options (3.5mm, 4.4 balanced, and a Type-C version with mic/media controls). Quick note: the Type-C isn’t DSP, and I’m actually happy about that—DSP usually means you’re stuck waiting on software support, and that can be a hit or miss. On the physical side, the SV is basically the same Klean shape, but I measured a few differences—especially around the nozzle area. The SV came out a bit lighter than my OG Klean (around 9.5g per side), and the nozzle/lip geometry is slightly different too. Accessory-wise, you get more tips this time (clear + black silicone sets), the same canvas-style case (which I prefer over leather because leather tends to break down), and you get multiple nozzle filters (silver default plus extra options). For sound, my early takeaway is: the SV still feels “Klean,” but it’s a bit brighter and comes off a touch more V-shaped versus the OG. It’s close enough that I immediately started thinking, “Do you even need the SV, or can you just EQ the OG to get there?” We’ll validate more with longer listening and the gaming test.
