In this video, I review the 7Hz x Crinacle Diablo and yeah—this is easily one of the bassiest IEMs I’ve tried. I break down the tuning with real use cases: how the bass hits (sub-bass, mid-bass, even lower mids), how it behaves on commutes, and why the planar driver matters here. The main takeaway is the bass is heavy, punchy, and fast, and it doesn’t turn into a muddy mess the way you’d expect with this much low-end. For around $150 / ~9,000 pesos, I can totally see why a normal person would just go, “Hey, this sounds pretty good.” I also get into the stuff that annoyed me—because the accessories are outright unusable for actual daily use. The cable is stiff, super microphonic, and hilariously heavy, and the case is so big it’s basically asking you to carry a bag. Comfort-wise, the shells are massive but wearable for me for 2–3 hours, and they’re efficient enough to run off a basic jack (though they scale with a proper DAC/amp). Sound-wise, the Diablo’s weakness is mids/treble: recessed upper mids can make vocals sound distant, and the treble isn’t really for treble-centric tracks. For gaming (Valorant and R6), imaging is solid, staging is narrow/close, and it’s surprisingly playable for a bass-head set—so I land at an A- overall.
