About This Video

In this video I finally try a flathead/earbud-style set: the Aoshida E60. I start with the unboxing and accessories, and honestly the bundle is kind of stacked for earbuds—there’s a case (not bad, but the top feels wobbly), foam covers, removable silicone ear hooks, a 3.5mm cable, a 4.4mm balanced adapter, and even a 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter. The buds themselves are metal, friction-fit, and lighter than I expected, but they’re also big enough that I have to wedge them in a specific way to sound “right.” Sound-wise, the E60 comes off bassy, warm, and “fun,” but the bass can bleed into the mids. Because they don’t seal like IEMs, you still hear your environment (and other people might hear your music too), which makes them more commute-friendly than anything. I straight-up don’t like them that much for my own use, but I can see the point if you want audio while still hearing outside noise at work or on the street. For gaming, yeah… not it. I tested them and felt lost on positional cues—usable in a pinch, but they don’t help you track enemies like a decent IEM or headset. My takeaway: I don’t recommend the E60 unless you specifically want warm, bass-centric earbuds for commuting and situational awareness.
