A lot of you guys have been asking for this, so I finally bought the Truthear x Crinacle Zero: Red and tested if it’s still worth it around the $50–$65 range. In this video I go through the big stuff you actually need to know before buying: the build, comfort, and why this shell is properly huge (seriously, the nozzle is 6.8mm). I also cover the accessories—cable, case, silicone + foam tips, and even the spare filters—plus the included impedance adapter if you want to boost the bass even more. For sound, I break it down the way I actually use IEMs: music, gaming, and video editing. The Reds come off neutral-ish with a slightly elevated bass (JM1-ish), with deep, soothing sub-bass that’s addictive for chill, jazzy, lounge-style tracks and male vocals. But if you’re into exciting pop/rock, electric guitars, and female vocals with bite, these can sound too safe, too smooth, and sometimes straight-up lacking clarity. On the gaming side, they’re not “made for FPS,” but imaging is nearly pinpoint accurate in Valorant and R6, even if separation/detail can be hit-or-miss when things get busy. My overall take: B+ tier—great for male vocals, laid-back music, editing voices, and capable FPS use, but the fit and the “smooth over detail” tuning won’t be for everyone.
