In this stream I unboxed the Truthear x Crinacle Zero Blue and did my usual straight-up first impressions: accessories, fit/weight talk, and then I went straight into measurements and what the FR is actually telling us. I also pulled up the Truthear Zero RED graph for context because that’s the real question people keep asking—“is the Blue better than the REDS?” In my measurements, the Zero Blue is basically Harman tuned in every way possible, so it leans fun: more bass + more treble energy compared to the Reds, which follow a JM1-ish direction more closely and come off more neutral/bright-tilted. I also explained the “resonant peaks” you see around the upper treble (like ~8k and ~12.5k). Those peaks can shift depending on insertion/placement, and a lot of the time they’re not something you’ll hear the same way you see it on a graph—so don’t panic-buy or panic-skip an IEM off one spike. After that, I did a quick gaming test (Valorant) focusing on imaging, footsteps, and directional cues. Even with my scuffed connection, I could still place people pretty reliably; elevation was the main thing I wasn’t super confident about from that quick run.
