In this video I unbox the OG Truthear x Crinacle Zero Blue and give you my straight-up first impressions—because even if it’s sent to me by Truthear, I really don’t give a [__]. I go through the accessories (case, extra nozzle filters, tips, cable), talk about the housing finish (mine looks more violet than blue), and I also point out the annoying real-world stuff: this domed faceplate scratches easy and it’s a fingerprint magnet. Then I do weight and caliper measurements, and yep—this shell is a bit thicker/taller than the Zero Red, with a huge 6.8mm lip diameter. Sound-wise, I hear this as a Harman-leaning, V-shaped “fun” set: lots of midbass punch, not a ton of deep subbass rumble, and a bit of a mid scoop so vocals aren’t the main character. That midbass can get muddy depending on the track, and the treble is boosted enough that some people might find it spicy (but it’s still not as knife-y as the Zero Blue 2). For gaming, you can play Valorant/CS fine, but when things get hectic I get more directional confusion vs the Zero Red—so I still prefer the Reds for more accurate imaging and cleaner separation. Overall, I’d put the Zero Blue at around a 3.5/5: good if you want fun bass + treble, but value drops once you’ve heard one decent Harman/bass-boosted IEM.
