Hey y’all! In this Easter dinner cook with me, I’m sharing all the simple recipes I made for a small Easter dinner at home for my family of four. I always do our little dinner early because on actual Easter we go to a bigger family get-together, and I also like to get this video up in time to give you some inspiration if you’re planning ahead. Everything I made is very doable, and I tried to keep it stress-free while still making it feel special. I started with a spiral ham that I grabbed on a Kroger sale for 85 cents a pound (my whole ham was only $7.23), and I made it in the crockpot for the first time. Y’all… it was hands-down the easiest ham I’ve ever made, and it freed up my oven for sides. I also made Cadbury egg cookies (I swear those mini eggs are addicting), my “new staple” deviled eggs with chopped baby dill pickles and bacon, a beautiful braided rosemary bread, cheesy au gratin potatoes that are the best I’ve tried, and garlic parmesan bacon asparagus with a shortcut or two. It’s a labor of love, but it’s worth it to me—family traditions matter, and I want my kids to remember I tried to make things special.
