In this video I show you what I genuinely think is the best Slapchop workflow when the goal is simple: get an Infinity force painted fast, efficiently, and looking punchy on the table. I paint half of the Infinity Operation Sandtrap box (JSA, because they’re awesome) and I take you through my full process: black primer, a white zenithal (airbrush is optional—rattle can works), then a super-thinned “recess regain” pass to bring back the deepest shadows the zenithal can flatten. After that, I drybrush pure white to re-hit the raised edges and volumes, and then it’s just smart, controlled contrast/speedpaint layers. I show my exact thinning ratios and color choices: cold steel mixes for mechanics, a cold white, a strong red that really pops with one coat, and two different blacks so cloth and weapons don’t look identical. Then I add a few quick upgrades—tiny white clean-ups, simple gold-ish details, stripes on trousers, and easy glowing effects (plus a quick green energy sword with a feathered highlight). Finally, I finish with a super fast desert base using Dark Earth texture and an overbrush technique. Are they competition pieces? Of course not. But I got a full, cohesive skirmish force done in about 6.5 hours including basing—no excuses to play with grey plastic.
