You’ve asked for this a lot, so in this TMM episode I finally tackle my favourite disgusting-green Nurgle metallic armour scheme using the new True Metallic Metal paints. I start from a simple black/white zenithal (you can just go black if you want) and then I basecoat the armour with a very specific mix: Amber Green Base + H Metal Base + Greenish Gold Base. The Greenish Gold and Amber Green give that proper Nurgle hue, and H Metal is my secret weapon here because it desaturates the mix and stops everything looking too bright. From there I build the whole look with controlled chaos: stippling darker pitted corrosion (Amber Green Base + Obsidian Black Base), then drybrush/stipple highlights (Greenish Gold Light + Sterling Silver Base). The real magic is the shading: I use Express paints like oils—apply and feather—so I can push contrast while keeping things matte. Black Lotus kills the shine in corroded areas, then I shade the armour with Camouflage Green Express mixed with Greenish Gold Shade, and I add subtle brown variation with Mahogany and Copper Brown for streaks. To finish, I edge highlight corrosion with classic acrylic mixes (Dark Sea Blue + Ice Yellow, then more Ice Yellow with Oxy Blue), sharpen the armour edges with the metallic highlight mix, and add a final hue shift with straight Sterling Silver Base. If you want extra filth, I finish with a thin Parasite Brown wash on rivets and even show a full rusted metal recipe for chainmail and details.
