In this video, I got to spend some real seat time in a brand new 2025 INEOS Grenadier and share my first impressions—no fluff. We dug into the interior first, because honestly it’s one of the coolest cockpits I’ve seen in a long time: tons of real buttons and switches, a clean mix of digital and analog, eight auxiliary switches, and dedicated controls for 4WD, diff locks, and off-road assists. I also show off the practical stuff I love, like the compass/elevation readout, inclinometer, and a screen that monitors tire PSI and even tire temperature (plus T-case and gearbox temps). That’s handy information right there. Then we hit the road to see how it drives. The acceleration is legit—quiet, responsive, and it flat-out plants you in the seat. It rides surprisingly comfortable for a solid-axle 4x4, though I did notice the steering doesn’t self-center like many folks expect (typical solid-axle behavior and often caster-related). Outside, it feels like the perfect blend of Wrangler and Land Rover, and it’s clearly built to be modified: accessory mounting points, ladder access for rooftop gear, good clearance, factory tow points, and KO2s from the factory. I’m not getting rid of my JK, but if I was shopping new, this Grenadier is climbing to the top of my list—especially with that BMW straight-six under the hood.
